Perhaps you should learn more of British politics before trying to see conspiracy links to 9/11.

Murdoch is the head of News International, and appears to wield a great deal of power in Britain through his ownership of the press, especially tabloid 'The Sun'. The Sun is anti-gay, anti union, anti EU, pro US. There is a definate xeno-phobic and racist slant to the reporting. It is also the largest selling paper in Britain, and tries to present itself as the voice of the 'ordinary bloke'- and is widely read by the "working class". It supported Thatcher in her ram raid on British politics. It also attackes the BBC as a left wing organisation, and pushes NewsCorps 'Sky news' as a truthful alternative.

Most famously, it declared "It was the Sun wot [sic] won it" after the shock victory John Major and the Tories in 1992. Received wisdom is that it's support is crucial in a general election. This may be a self fufilling prophesy, in as much as Murdoch allies with the side most likely to win and then tells them he helped win it, boosting his perceived power.

Blair cozies up to Murdoch because to lose his support would be perceived as very damaging for the polls.
