With respect to the "planes" that "crashed" into wtc1, wtc2, and the Pentagon, there is good evidence that the alleged passenger aircraft were absent in each case. I believe the fits with the idea that there were no hijackings.

If the above is true, the idea of a stand down by Norad / Cheney / FAA tends to obscure the true nature of what happened on 9/11 rather than elucidate.
